“Kõmij Mour Ijin/Our Life is Here” x Planting Oceania

In partnership with UC Berkeley’s Environmental Arts & Humanities Initiative and the Kõmij Mour Ijin/Our Life Is Here community grant program, Planting Oceania is hosting a community workday on October 16 featuring talanoa, Pacific Islander poetry, creation stories, and food. We’ll learn about the history of Hekšen Creek and celebrate Pacific Islander presence and survivance in xučyun.

Come learn from Loa Niumeitolu, and meet Pacific Islanders living in the Bay Area and UC Gill Tract community farm members. Mahalo & mālama!
